General Information
The WPO is a professional organization colaborating with the International Federation of Pankration Athlima (IFPA).
The WPO goal is to promote Pankration activities world-wide by organizing seminars, courses, competitions, demonstrations, sponsoring, awarding rank belts in Pankration, qualifying instructors and official examiners.

WPO Advantages
The WPO is unique to other organizations in some very important aspects:

1. The WPO is the first and only international organization eligible to award ranks (belts), instructor's certificates and examiner's certificate in Pankration.

2. The WPO is operating in cooperation with the IFPA

3. The WPO is a worldwide organization with numeros members in many countries.

4. The WPO is sponsoring athletic, proffesional and recreational activities.

5. The WPO does not require a special dress code, rules of fighting or level of contact.

6. The WPO is free of politics and national interests.

7. The WPO is open to all: individuals, groups, instructors, students, martial arts fans and sports enthusiastic all over the world.

8. The WPO holds a "special qualification program" which enables martial fighters from various accredited disciplines to receive a rank in Pankration through a unique comparative and accrediting procedure.

9. The WPO offers its members seminars, tournaments and courses in different aspects of fighting, worldwide.

10. The WPO is working in collaboration with the College for Exercise and Sport.
